Our History

With years of experience and a desire to provide quality products and excellent service to the home building market in North Central Ohio, in October of 1970, RJ (Jake) Miller and RL (Bob) Flowers founded Home & Kitchen Supply.

The two major product lines that the business was virtually built around were Andersen Windows and Scheirich Cabinets. While Andersen products are still a significant part of our business today, Scheirich Cabinets went out of business in 1989.

In 1970, the business started with Jake and Bob, a part-time truck driver and a part-time secretary. Our first business location was in the rear lower section of the Southern Hotel building in downtown Mansfield. In 1974, a full time salesperson was hired and the Tracey & Avery Building at the corner of 5th and Diamond Street was purchased for our current location. In January of 1976, Ken Miller and Jeff Flowers, sons of Jake and Bob, were hired as salesman for the company. In 1989 Ken and Jeff purchased the business and remain as the current owners and continue to operate the business.

Through the years, there have been many changes in the industry and Home & Kitchen Supply has adapted to these changes. We currently have two full time salesmen calling on builder accounts as well as selling kitchen & bath remodeling and window & door replacement. We have 3 talented craftsmen that are kept busy completing our quality projects.

With over 40 years of operation behind us, we enjoy a loyal customer base that have returned to us many times throughout the years and have also referred friends and family as well. The reputation we enjoy for quality products, service, design and craftsmanship is the key to our success.
